Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking an experienced 1st shift Trailer Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our York, PA shop.

You will perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers, troubleshoot brakes, air systems, and electrical components. Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing Class 8 trucks, with a complete set of hand tools and vocational/technical training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing Class 8 trucks.
• HS diploma preferred but not required, vocational/technical training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy-duty trucks.
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspecting and replacing general components as required.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 1st Shift Trailer Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our York, PA shop.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
• A complete set of hand tools for a heavy duty truck technician
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude

Trailer Mechanic responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
