Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 1st shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Camp Hill, PA shop.

This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience with Class 8 trucks and owns a complete set of heavy-truck hand tools; vocational training in diesel/heavy-duty systems is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicles; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and perform repairs to engines, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 1st shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Camp Hill, PA shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.

Diesel Mechanic qualifications:
