R+L Carriers is seeking a Trailer Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ to diagnose, repair, and maintain trailers. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday with various shifts. You will perform safety inspections, interpret manuals, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform safety inspections and prepare safety documents as required by FMCSA and regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
• Experience in testing equipment to meet manufacturer specs and regulations.
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and own your own tools.
• Dependable and prepared to work in varying climate conditions.

Trailer Mechanic, Earn up to $38.85.Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various ShiftsPTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Trailer Mechanics at our Phoenix, AZ Service Center. As a Trailer Mechanic, your responsibilities will include the diagnostic process, repair work, and overall maintenance of our trailers.R+L Carriers - Women in TruckingCompany CultureRequirements:

• Experienced in performing safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company, and any other Federal, State, or Local regulations

• Must be able to Interpret technical manuals

• Must have experience in repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems

• Experience in testing equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations

• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs

• Must be able to lift 50lbs

• Must own your own tools

• Must be dependable

• Must be prepared to work in climate situation when needed.

Preferred:

• Experience using Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System

• Welding

• Experience driving yard tractor/trailers

• Previous experience working on Class 8 commercial vehicles

• Sheet metal and composite panel repair
