Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Trailer Mechanic at our Las Vegas, NV Service Center. This full-time role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our trailers, with Monday–Friday shifts and various schedules. Qualified candidates should have FMCSA safety inspection experience, the ability to interpret technical manuals, and proven repair expertise.

Must lift 50 lbs and own a set of tools. We offer PTO after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k)

Trailer Mechanic, Earn up to $37.75 hr

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Trailer Mechanics at our LasVegas, NV Service Center. As a Trailer Mechanic, your responsibilities willinclude the diagnostic process, repair work, and overall maintenance of ourtrailers.

Requirements

• Experienced in performing safety inspections of equipment and prepare safetydocuments required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration(FMCSA), company, and any other Federal, State, or Local regulations
• Must be able to Interpret technical manuals
• Must have experience in repairing or replacing defective parts, components,or systems
• Experience in testing equipment for proper performance and to ensure that thework meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must own your own tools
• Must be dependable
• Must be prepared to work in climate situation when needed.

Preferred

• Experience using Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System
• Welding
• Experience driving yard tractor/trailers
• Previous experience working on Class 8 commercial vehicles
• Sheet metal and composite panel repair
