South Suburban Parks and Recreation is seeking a maintenance worker to perform skilled trail and facilities maintenance, including trails, parking lots, bridges and drainage areas. You will inspect systems, perform cleaning, weed control and graffiti removal, and operate heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of skilled labor/operation related to park and trail maintenance or light civil construction in the public sector is acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Maintain trails, parking lots, bridges, and drainage ways.
• Inspect facilities and report maintenance needs.
• Perform cleaning, weed control, and graffiti removal.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Respond to inquiries and work with District staff and patrons.
