Ace Relocation Systems is seeking a Logistics/Routing Coordinator in Houston to optimize shipment routing, determine pricing within budgets, and coordinate with carriers and vendors. The role supports CSR teams, tracks cargo milestones, and ensures timely documentation and data entry.

Proficiency in MoveStar/OAS, OnBase, and Microsoft Office is required. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1–2 years in related work are expected. This position may involve overtime as needed.

Position Summary: Coordinates the best and most cost-effective routing options for shipments and support relocation coordinators with communicating with agents and vendors.
Essential Duties and Functions: To perform this job successfully, the individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.

• Independently responsible for determining the best routing options based on profitability and reliability.
• Determine best pricing to ensure rate is within/less than estimated budget.
• Communicates across departments to ensure the CSR executes best routing.
• Maintain responsibility and communication to ensure CSR remain current with shipment routing details during transit.
• Execute timely updates in appropriate system with rates secured for trucking/freight.
• Booking freight movement and execute appropriate documentation.
• Enter and manage current routing details in system.
• Manage flow of necessary documents between vendors in supply chain.
• Real time tracking of cargo and updating CSR at determined milestones.
• Responsible for document review for US based shipments/ providers.
• Covers all phones after all employees have departed for the day.
• Responsible for determining routing of shipments.
• Independently work with transportation vendors to determine best routing within current guidelines.
• Data entry and shipment updates.
• Interact with CSR staff to best manage the customer.

• Manges various reports as needed by VP.
• In the event of an emergency facilitates contact with appropriate CSR, GM, or VP to assist in resolution.
• Ensures CSR team is current with data entry / various duties as needed while other employees are off duty.
• Manages Transportation Vendor network as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Technology Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and outlook.
• Competent with Microsoft Teams.
• Competent in MoveStar/OAS and OnBase.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1 or 2 Years related experience.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Assures that safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Follows policies and procedures including infection control, universal pre-cautions and exposure control plans when performing daily tasks.
• Reports hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
• Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, or chemicals.
• The position will require significant overtime or shift work.
• The position has specific requirements with respect to vision, hearing, and speaking.
