City of St. Charles, MO is seeking a Traffic Signal and Lighting Technician to perform maintenance, installation, and diagnostics on city traffic signals and street lighting systems. This is a full-time, on-site role in Missouri requiring electrical proficiency and a valid CDL with tanker endorsements.

The position includes a comprehensive benefits package, rotating on-call duties, and opportunities for advancement within the Public Works Department.

Competenze

• Must be able to troubleshoot and analyze electrical problems within traffic signal and street lighting systems.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience working on traffic signals, street lighting or similar electrical systems preferred.
• Class A CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements required as a condition of employment and continued employment.
• Department of Transportation Medical Examiner's Certification required as a condition of employment and continued employment.
• Computer skills and knowledge using Microsoft Office programs.

Mansioni

• Install, repair, and maintain City owned traffic signals and street lighting.
• Perform diagnostic testing, maintenance, and emergency repairs to signals and lighting.
• Provide guidance for traffic control at city job sites and events.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools for traffic control devices and lighting.
• Retain accurate records of work orders and service manuals.
