City of Branson is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair street lighting, traffic signals, and high‑voltage systems in and around Branson, MO on a primarily on‑site schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Three (3) years electrical experience in installation, maintenance, and repair or completion of an electrical apprenticeship
  • Journeyman Electrician's license with NEC knowledge
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on city plan
  • Work Zone Safety certification within six months of employment
  • Willingness to respond to emergency call-outs and work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Background check, drug and alcohol screening, and physical agility assessment required
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Technician 1 and street lighting repair experience are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including street lighting, traffic signals, high‑voltage equipment, and facility systems
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues to keep critical infrastructure operating safely and efficiently
  • Operate tools and equipment including bucket trucks to complete field electrical work
