Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• IMSA Level I Traffic Signals Certification within one year of employment.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
• May be required to obtain Texas Class A CDL with endorsements within six months.

Aufgaben

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair traffic signals, school zone flashers, pedestrian signals, controllers, cabinets, and related equipment.
• Identify and correct malfunctions; perform preventive maintenance and assist with new signal deployments.
• Program traffic counters, changeable message signs, and radar trailers; support ATMS connectivity.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering plans; assist with inspections of new signal construction.
• Maintain safe work zones; complete dispatches, work orders, and reports in Cityworks or similar system.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, engineering staff, utilities, and Town personnel; follow safety and on-call procedures.
