Job summary

Traffic Control Devices, LLC (TCD) is seeking a focused Traffic Signal Technician I to support the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signal systems. The role includes on-site duties, reading blueprints, and handling diverse signaling hardware.

Emergency call responsibilities are part of the job. Ideal candidates have IMSA certification preferred, flexibility for on-site work, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• IMSA Certification preferred.
• Ability to distinguish the color spectrum.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair signal supports, cabinets, and detection systems.
• Maintain and repair controllers, signs, signals, and lights.
• Build and install signal flasher units and load relays.
• Tune vehicle detectors and adjust signal phase timing.
• Install hardwired, microwave telemetry, fiber optics, and surveillance equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assist on-site work duties.
