Qualifications

• High School Diploma and one year of skilled labor experience in construction, building maintenance, or related work.
• Experience with computer-driven traffic control systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of MUTCD and traffic signal components is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade adaptive signal control technology.
• Install and service electronic traffic signal equipment, including signals, cameras, and pedestrian devices.
• Improve and maintain signalized intersections and crossings.
• Test, diagnose, and maintain traffic signal and related equipment.
• Install temporary and permanent traffic control devices to divert traffic and protect safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance on traffic signals and street lighting circuits.
• Troubleshoot signals and streetlight circuits.
• Read blueprints for traffic signal installations.
• Enter daily work tickets in the KorWeb system.
• Operate bucket trucks for signal repair and maintenance.
