Description

This position performs technical work in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signal systems. It involves a variety of specialized tasks that are reviewed to ensure quality. Emergency call duties are required.

New hires will be eligible for a $1000 Sign-On Bonus if you have either a current IMSA Certification and/or previous verifiable experience in Traffic Signalization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Inspection and repair of signal supports, cabinets, and detection systems.
  • Maintenance and repair of controllers, signs, signals, and lights.
  • Build and install signal flasher units and load relays.
  • Tuning vehicle detectors and adjusting signal control phase timing.
  • Installing hardwired, microwave radio telemetry, fiber optics, and surveillance equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Assist in on-site work duties.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • IMSA Certification preferred.
  • Ability to distinguish the range of color spectrum.
  • Ability to work at heights over 15 feet.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Assist in on-site work duties.
Education & Experience
  • Prior experience in a similar position and industry is preferred but not required.
Pre-Screen
  • Employees may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check upon offer.
License & Certifications
  • Driver's License preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Climbing poles (less than 10%).
  • Sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and stairs (up to 33%).
  • Standing, walking, manual dexterity, and other activities (up to 100%).
  • Lifting over 10 lbs to 50 lbs., and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
