Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 30+ credit hours in electrical/electronics or networking, or completion of apprenticeship (internal).
• One year of signal and lighting field experience.
• CDL written exam passed prior to hire; tanker endorsement and Class B interstate status within 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists on emergency calls involving signals, lighting, ITS and related equipment and takes appropriate action.
• Assists in investigating customer service reports related to signal and lighting operations and reports findings.
• Responds to routine utility locates requests from Missouri One Call.
• Assists in installation, repair, and maintenance of signal equipment, radio communications, ITS, roadway, aviation and navigational lighting, and other electrical devices.
• Assists in interpreting signal circuit plans and schematics for troubleshooting.
