Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Traffic Signal/Lighting Trainee to perform electrical work for building traffic signals and roadway lighting.

You will assist technicians and foremen while learning to assemble signals, install wiring, trench and place conduit, and set foundations for poles. This entry-level role offers outdoor work on roadways, safety-focused tasks per OSHA guidelines, and the chance to progress toward earning a Class A CDL within six months.

Competenze

• CDL permit or higher recommended, but not required at hire.
• Must be able to acquire a Class A CDL within 6 months of hire.
• 1+ years of experience recommended but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own your own hand tools.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Assist technicians and foreman with daily tasks.
• Learn to build traffic signals and roadway lighting.
• Trench and place conduit, build electrical services.
• Pour/construct foundations for signal and lighting poles.
• Install wiring and make electrical connections.
