Gray Media, Inc., owner of WLOX-TV, seeks a Sales Assistant in Biloxi, MS. This role provides administrative support to Local Account Executives and the National Sales Manager, handling copy, logs, and traffic tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, within a team-focused setting.

Job Summary/Description:

The WLOX sales department is seeking a friendly, positive, self-motivated individual to join our team! The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide a variety of administrative support to our Local Account Executives and National Sales Manager. This position is also responsible for managing commercial copy and preparing and filling the logs for our traffic hub. This individual must thrive in a team environment and have a strong work ethic. The Sales Assistant position is a vital role in the success of our business. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with others are a must.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Provide support to Sales Management, Sales Staff, and Master Control each day.
• Order entry/maintenance including avails, proposals, pre/post logs.
• Maintain with accuracy the commercial, promo, and PSA database in WideOrbit Traffic. This includes filing and purging of information in a timely fashion.
• Confirm traffic instructions to various advertisers and agencies as needed.
• Daily management of inventory changes/program changes.
• Fill and proof traffic logs for finalization by the hub.
• Provide a dub list of needed materials for Master Control each day.
• Assist the National Sales Manager with order entry and client requests.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• - The ideal candidate is an organized multitasker.
• - They are detail-oriented, a problem solver, and able to learn new things quickly.
• - This person works well under pressure and understands how to prioritize and manage time wisely.
• - Candidate should be proficient in data entry and have experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• 1-2 years in an office setting
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.
