Job summary

Traffic Safety Services Inc in Wyoming is hiring Traffic Safety Technicians for permanent installation and pavement marking on a seasonal, travel-based basis. You will operate company vehicles, install and maintain traffic control devices, and assist with pavement markings and permanent signs on roadway projects.

Starting pay is $20/hour with prevailing wage opportunities of $30.80–$34.30/hour on qualifying projects.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Experience operating forklift and skid steer preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret traffic control plans, pavement marking plans, maps, and project specifications.
• Ability to operate trucks, trailers, and equipment including backing trailers.
• Basic math skills including reading a tape measure.
• Reliable communication to receive schedules and updates.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Positive attitude, strong organization, and safety commitment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work varying schedules, overtime, weekends, and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles while traveling to and from job sites.
• Deliver, install, maintain, remove, and transport traffic control devices for roadway projects.
• Assist with pavement markings layout, installation, and application.
• Install and maintain permanent traffic signs and related devices.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload trucks, trailers, equipment, and materials.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, small grinders, and other roadway equipment.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Wash, inspect, fuel, and stock vehicles and equipment.
• Organize shop, yard, and inventory areas.
• Safely handle traffic control devices and construction materials.
• Assist other departments to ensure safe, efficient project completion.
• Follow all policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures.
