Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc is hiring a Protector to work at various job sites. No prior experience or degree is required as training is provided, and safety comes first in all tasks.

Daily duties include placing traffic control devices, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and coordinating with the crew and supervisor while working outdoors year-round. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work, and safety gear is provided by the company.

Qualifications

• No experience or degree needed; training provided.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; arrive on time for every shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take down traffic control equipment.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
