Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is hiring Protectors to join our team at various job sites. No experience or degree is required, and we provide comprehensive training and support to build a career in traffic safety.

You will set up traffic control gear, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and follow safety rules in all weather conditions. Expect flexible shifts, potential night/weekend work, and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-hire screening including a drug test.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, or emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, barricades and remove traffic control gear.
• Use stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Follow safety rules taught in training and stay alert near traffic.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor; keep vehicles and gear clean and safe.
• Work outdoors year-round in all weather; shifts may vary.
