Job summary

The City of Baltimore is seeking a Traffic Safety Manager to plan, organize, and coordinate traffic safety programs, supervising traffic safety personnel under administrative supervision.

The role requires attendance at evenings or weekend meetings and 24-hour call back for emergencies, with work at various locations where weather and traffic may be encountered. A bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience with two years supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Five years of experience in developing and implementing a traffic safety program for a large municipality, including two years of supervisory responsibilities.
• Equivalency: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Non-supervisory experience or education may not be substituted for the required supervisory experience.
