AWP Safety, Inc. is hiring Protectors to manage traffic control at job sites. No prior experience required; we provide training and safety gear.

Roles include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining site safety and communication with the team. Expect outdoor, year‑round work in varying weather; some shifts may include nights or weekends. Pay starts at $18.00–$18.75 per hour with overtime and paid training leading to a traffic safety

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and changing weather.
• Flexible schedule; punctual attendance required.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including drug test.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades; take down equipment.
• Use stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outdoors year‑round, in all weather; shifts may include nights/weekends.
