Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Project Engineer to lead transportation design and deliver complete engineering solutions from concept to final design. You will own technical deliverables, mentor junior staff, and coordinate across disciplines while balancing quality, budget, and schedule.

The role requires a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, and at least four years of progressive engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and produce complete engineering designs, including plans, specs, reports, calculations, and estimates.
• Coordinate technical work with project managers, subconsultants, and stakeholders.
• Review work by engineers, EITs, designers, and technicians for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documentation using standard tools.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development.
• Engage with clients and agencies while balancing quality, budget, and schedule.
• Lead traffic and transportation design tasks, including traffic studies and reviews.
