Job summary

Shrewsberry & Associates in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Project Engineer – Traffic Engineering to support traffic studies, analysis, and design tasks. You will gain experience across project phases and contribute to data collection, forecasting, and plans using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

You will coordinate with clients, prepare reports, and assist in design calculations under a Traffic Project Manager. EIT certification and BSCE emphasis in traffic are preferred; strong communication and software

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to determine project needs.
• Complete on-site investigation of roadway assets and develop recommendations for improvements.
• Develop traffic forecasting volume exhibits, traffic capacity analysis models, crash data assessments, and written reports.
• Develop plans for traffic design projects using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Assist in the preparation of specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Complete quality control reviews of traffic studies, construction plans, design calculations, and other contract documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to discuss studies, plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
