Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Traffic Engineering Project Manager to lead traffic and transportation projects for land development.

You will manage data collection, analysis, and impact studies, and assist with permit plans for access to state and local roadways, coordinating with clients and officials from concept to construction. Ten-plus years of experience and a PE license are required, with proficiency in HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.).
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with a focus on traffic and transportation.
• Experience in project management and staff supervision.
• Traffic engineering experience including data collection, analysis, report preparation (Transportation Impact Studies) and HOPP plans.
• Proficiency in HCS and Synchro/SimTraffic.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• P.T.O.E. certification.
• Experience with developers, architects, commercial, retail, and industrial clients.
• AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or InRoads proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic and transportation projects from data collection through studies.
• Prepare Highway Occupancy Permit Plans and related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and officials on project development.
• Oversee office and field work as needed.
