Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications, or related field required.
• Three years progressively responsible experience with automated traffic control and traffic monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with construction managers and traffic engineers on major projects to minimize roadway impacts and conflicts due to construction traffic, lane closures and road closures.
• Communicates traffic alerts to emergency services, other stakeholders, County administrators, department management, and the traveling public; identifies, locates, and reports accidents; provides detailed information regarding construction, accidents, traffic delays, detours, and other events.
