Job summary

C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., Inc. is looking for a Traffic Control Supervisor to manage traffic operations on highway projects in Atlanta, Georgia. This role requires overseeing traffic control setups, ensuring they meet GDOT and federal standards, while maintaining safe traffic flow and supervising workers on-site.

The ideal candidate must possess ATSSA TCS Certification, have at least 2 years of roadway construction experience, and be able to work outdoors in varying conditions. Night and weekend work is required as needed.

Qualifications

• ATSSA TCS Certification or NSC or at least 4,000 verifiable hours required.
• Must have 2+ years of traffic control or roadway construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise traffic control crews on active jobsites.
• Implement and adjust Traffic Control Plans according to standards.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and compliance checks.
