Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking a Traffic Engineering Project Manager to join our Peachtree Corners, GA or Cobb County, GA office. You will lead challenging transportation projects within our Traffic Engineering/Transportation Planning Group, coordinating with a diverse team of engineers and planners.

Primary responsibilities include overseeing signal and ITS design, traffic studies, corridor analyses, and intersection operations, while mentoring staff and managing client relationships across city,

Qualifications

• BS in an accredited Transportation/Civil Engineering program
• 8+ years hands-on experience with traffic engineering
• PE License
• Experience with traffic analysis and reporting and applying MUTCD and GDOT policies and standards
• Breadth of Traffic Engineering knowledge including intersection and corridor analysis, traffic simulation, forecasting, safety analysis and design
• Leadership in project management, marketing, and mentoring staff
• Team player with a desire to learn and grow professionally

Responsibilities

• Provide expert engineering and planning services to clients in city, state, and federal agencies and private sector clients
• Lead and participate in projects involving signal and ITS design, pedestrian crossing design, traffic studies, corridor studies, and signal timing
• Manage multiple projects, mentor staff, and develop client relationships
