Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Traffic & Intelligent Transportation System Manager to join our Transportation team in Indianapolis, Indiana. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• PE license in Indiana or ability to obtain Indiana licensure within six months.
• Experience delivering transportation projects for state DOTs/local public agencies or similar.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, Synchro, SimTraffic, and VISSIM.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage traffic engineering and ITS projects from planning through final design and delivery.
• Lead traffic engineering studies including operations analyses, forecasting, and simulations.
• Direct safety studies and develop practical recommendations to improve flow and safety.
• Plan and implement ITS improvements such as monitoring systems and dynamic message signs.
• Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to advance project objectives.
