AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ITS/Traffic Engineering Intern for Spring 2027 in Orlando, FL. The role supports project delivery by developing plans, compiling data, reviewing ITS device locations, and preparing exhibits using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related technical experience and have completed 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by Spring 2027.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related technical field experience (internship or co-op acceptable).
• Must have completed 60 hours toward civil engineering in an ABET-accredited program by Spring 2027.
• Basic computer skills to enter data into spreadsheets or databases; math skills for simple calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, specifications, and other documentation to support project delivery.
• Compile data and prepare reports related to projects.
• Review ITS device locations and inventories.
• Prepare exhibits using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform field work with site visits and ITS inventory collection.
