Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in electrical construction or traffic signal systems.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings and electrical riser diagrams.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lift equipment.
• Strong commitment to OSHA and electrical safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex intersection layouts and engineered schematics to guide precise equipment installation.
• Execute the wiring and mounting of signal heads, pedestrian detection devices, and advanced controller cabinets.
• Manage overhead and underground cable routing, ensuring accurate terminations and organized junction box maintenance.
• Operate aerial lifts and bucket trucks to install signal poles and mast arms while maintaining strict visibility standards.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing using multimeters to verify voltage, continuity, and system functionality.
• Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and your crew during active site operations.
• Document installation progress and report site-specific material needs to ensure project timelines are met.
