Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC) is seeking a Traffic Engineering Project Manager for our Indianapolis, IN office. You will oversee traffic and transportation engineering projects from data collection through studies and permit plan preparation, engaging clients and authorities along the way.

The role involves field work on select projects and collaboration with a team to deliver thorough transportation analyses and permit documentation for commercial, institutional, and energy clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience focusing on traffic and transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise traffic/transportation engineering projects from conception to permitting.
• Prepare and oversee Highway Occupancy Permit Plans and related documentation.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and officials to advance project development and approvals.
