Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead project teams in land development for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.

You will oversee design, budgeting, quality control, and client interfacing from concept through construction, mentoring junior engineers and guiding projects through regulatory processes to successful openings.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials through all project phases to completion.

Overview

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Indianapolis, IN office, you will manage project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. From an urban redevelopment site to industrial sites to a new school project, you'll take part in managing projects, quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers. In managing junior engineers, you will review the design aspects which will include site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
• Ability to develop and mentor staff
• Demonstrated experience in providing a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverable(s)
• Experience in preparing proposals and manage project execution
• Experience to interface with clients, network, and develop business
