Job summary
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Transportation Engineer in our Cleveland, OH area. You will work on transportation impact studies, driveways, roadways, and traffic signal designs for commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
You will interact with clients and authorities throughout design, review, bidding, and construction phases, contributing to a diverse project portfolio and potential ownership opportunities under our 100% employee-owned structure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Engineering in Training (EIT) or FE certification preferred.
- Previous internship preferred.
- Familiarity with MicroStation/InRoads or similar transportation design software.
Responsibilities
- Perform transportation impact studies and highway design plans for clients.
- Collect data and analyze to prepare impact studies for projects.
- Design driveways, roadways, and traffic signals for various sites.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors and local officials through project phases.
