Texas Department of Transportation is seeking Engineering Assistant I–III to support design, inspection, maintenance, surveying and related activities. You will work under supervision toward professional engineering licensure, participate in the EA Career Development program, and perform data collection and drafting tasks.

Roles include preparing PS&E, reviewing plans, and applying engineering principles to transportation projects. Candidates should be prepared for field and office work in Texas.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science required.
• Substitutions: Masters or Doctoral degree may substitute for Bachelor's.

Responsabilidades

• Apply engineering principles to transportation-related activities.
• Prepare PS&E and designs under supervision of licensed engineer.
• Assist in training and development within EA program.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and participate in design/drafting work.
