Texas Department of Transportation in El Paso is hiring Engineering Assistants I or II to support bridge and transportation projects. You will rotate through disciplines, gain mentorship, and pursue licensure while contributing to plan design and review.

The roles offer structured development, on-site work in the El Paso district, and opportunities to advance through the Career Development Program with a clear licensing pathway.

Competenze

• Theoretical and applied engineering principles for transportation projects.
• Knowledge of plans, specifications and estimates preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics and maps.
• Willingness to participate in the Engineering Assistant Career Development Program.

• Actively prepares for professional engineering licensing/registration through training and exams.
