What You Will Do:

• Ensure the highest level of up-time and quality of service to customers through operational quality.
• Design, maintain, and improve global production traffic infrastructure.
• Ownership of reliability issues using a wide variety of tools.
• Identify areas to improve service resiliency through techniques such as chaos engineering, performance / load testing, and game days.

What You Will Bring:

• Knowledge of load balancing, service mesh, and edge deployments (Envoy and Nginx)
• Expertise with Networking, Security, Logging, and Observability
• Maintaining customer commitments
• Navigating the complexities of the business and service reliability
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to coach & mentor other ICs
• Degree in computer science, related field, or 10 years of equivalent work experience is highly desirable
• 5+ years of Cloud Engineering experience Developing in Go, Python, or similar programming languages

Pay Range:

$105,000 - $110,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Sunnyvale, CA.

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel Requirements:

Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
