Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our Transportation team in Baltimore or Fairfax. You will contribute to traffic analyses, signal design, and corridor improvements across Maryland and Virginia, working with senior engineers to deliver safe, efficient transportation systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, has 3+ years in traffic engineering, and is an EIT. Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation and knowledge of MDOT/VDOT standards are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years in traffic or transportation engineering.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic analyses and corridor safety assessments.
• Prepare traffic control designs, plans, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and prepare technical memos.
• Support agency coordination and design reviews.
