Job summary

AECOM is seeking Roadway, Traffic and Drainage Designers and Engineers to join our growing Maryland and Virginia team. Selected candidates can expect work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects, in a hybrid office setting.

We welcome junior through senior engineers and CAD designers who have a BS in engineering and experience with MicroStation/Open Roads, AASHTO guidelines, and highway design tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with highway/interstate design and design calculations.
• Familiarity with MOT design elements and traffic control plans.
• Exposure to alternative delivery projects and mega-projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and review roadway, traffic and drainage components.
• Prepare design packages for highway improvement projects.
• Collaborate on complex interchanges and large-scale designs.
