Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking Roadway, Traffic and Drainage Designers and Engineers to join our Maryland and Virginia teams. You will contribute to design and delivery on major highway projects and alternative delivery programs from a hybrid office/field setting.

Roles span junior to senior levels, with opportunities to lead CAD design, engage in complex analyses, and develop comprehensive design packages for transportation systems across urban and interurban corridors.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
• EIT Certification or PE License preferred.
• Experience with roadway, traffic and drainage design projects.
• Familiarity with design packages and highway improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on Roadway, Traffic and Drainage design projects across Maryland/Virginia.
• Prepare design packages for highway improvement projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on alternative delivery projects.
• Support senior engineers and task leads on project execution.
