Job summary

Qualifications
- Perform engineering studies or analyses related to traffic operations, safety, signals, or traffic control.
- Review or prepare traffic reports, signal plans, safety studies, operational analyses, or technical documentation.
- Support evaluation of traffic patterns, safety concerns, roadway operations, or mobility improvements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with DOTD districts, project teams, consultants, local officials, and other stakeholders.
- Uses traffic engineering software, data systems, or technical tools to analyze operational needs.
- Assists with recommendations related to traffic control, signal systems, safety improvements, or operational changes.
- Applies applicable standards, policies, and procedures related to traffic engineering and transportation operations.
- Supports emergency or incident response activities as needed.
