We are currently seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Traffic Engineering Group in our Mechanicsburg, PA office. The role involves working with traffic analysis and design teams, performing operational analyses, developing technical solutions, and preparing reports and presentations. The design team handles traffic signals, signing, markings, ITS devices, and maintenance of traffic.
Responsibilities:
Our Traffic Department works on projects across the mid-Atlantic region (PA, MD, DE, VA) and nationally. Our work is challenging and innovative, often at the forefront of traffic engineering. Responsibilities include designing traffic signals, signing, markings, lighting, work zone traffic control, ITS devices; conducting safety and operations studies; and utilizing traffic modeling software like Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, and VISUM. Projects range from small intersection improvements to complex interchanges and multimodal transportation plans.
Position may require working at client sites.
