We are seeking a Traffic Engineer for our Traffic Engineering Group in Mechanicsburg, PA. Responsibilities include working with traffic analysis or design teams, performing operational analyses, developing technical solutions, and preparing reports and presentations. Design team tasks include creating contract documents for traffic signals, signing, markings, maintenance of traffic, and ITS devices.

Our Traffic Department handles projects regionally and nationally, involving traffic signal design, safety studies, and traffic modeling using tools like Synchro, VISSIM, and VISUM. Projects range from small intersection improvements to complex corridor and multimodal plans.

The position may require working at client sites.

Requirements:

• B.S.C.E degree
• Relevant transportation engineering experience
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to manage multiple assignments
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude and teamwork orientation
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
