Job summary

Verdantas in Ohio is seeking a seasoned Traffic/Transportation Engineer to lead complex traffic studies from planning through construction in a hybrid work environment. The role involves coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and delivering high-quality transportation solutions for diverse projects across the state.

You will partner with public and private clients to understand goals, navigate ODOT processes, and ensure projects progress efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET‑accredited) or related field.
• 3+ years of traffic or civil engineering experience.
• PE license required (PTOE is a strong plus).
• Experience with ODOT, municipalities, and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and GEOPAK; familiarity with HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, TransModeler.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET‑accredited) or related field
• 3+ years of traffic or civil engineering experience

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $90,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
