Job summary

Verdantas, a leading environmental consulting firm, seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager in Ohio. You will lead planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

You’ll mentor engineers and CAD professionals, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and support business development. A PE license and 7+ years in the field are required or highly preferred.

This Hybrid role offers Midwest office flexibility and a competitive salary with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in water, wastewater, or stormwater project delivery.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong foundation in project management and team leadership.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Manage projects end-to-end—ensuring scope, schedule, and budget success.
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and CAD professionals.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, high‑quality solutions.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Partner with clients and regulatory agencies to keep projects moving forward.
• Support and help win new work through proposals and client engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Solid technical expertise and a passion for delivering quality work
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $125,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
