Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a seasoned Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead planning, design, and delivery of critical water resources projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while guiding engineers, designers, and CAD professionals across interdisciplinary teams.

In this role, you will collaborate with clients and regulators to move projects forward, contribute to business development, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of experience in water, wastewater, or stormwater project delivery.
• Strong foundation in project management and team leadership.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; licensure preferred in OH or nearby states.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus; familiarity with civil design tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Manage projects end-to-end—ensuring scope, schedule, and budget success.
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and CAD professionals.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, high‑quality solutions.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Partner with clients and regulatory agencies to keep projects moving forward.
• Support and help win new work through proposals and client engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid technical expertise and a passion for delivering quality work
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $125,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
