Job summary

Baltimore City is seeking a Traffic Electronics Maintenance Technician II to install, maintain, repair and test a range of complex traffic electronic control equipment. The role involves rotating shifts, outdoor work, and exposure to weather and traffic hazards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience with electronic equipment maintenance. A Maryland driver’s license is required. Provisional licenses are not acceptable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of digital, analog and solid-state electronics.
• Skill in soldering circuit boards.
• Ability to calibrate test equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair computerized equipment malfunctions.

Responsibilities
