Job summary

The City of Virginia Beach is seeking a dedicated Traffic Signal Electronics Technician II responsible for the operation and maintenance of traffic control systems. The role includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and preparing technical reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of City, state, and federal standards and codes applicable to traffic control practices.
• Skill in performing electrical maintenance and repair of traffic control equipment.
• Ability to operate testing and fault diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair traffic control devices.
• Maintain data communication equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on traffic signal control systems.

Skills
