The Dedham Public Schools is looking to hire permanent and substitute Traffic Directors/Crossing Guards. Traffic Directors cross students at various locations in Dedham and are supported by the Dedham Police and the Business Office.

Job Description

The Dedham Public Schools is looking to hire permanent and substituteTraffic Directors/Crossing Guards.

Traffic Directors are responsible for crossing students who walk to school at various locations throughout the Town of Dedham. Traffic Directorsensure that traffic is stopped in all directions before allowing students to cross.

Traffic Directors are supported by Dedham Police and the Business Office of the Dedham Public Schools. Uniforms and paid training are provided. Hourly rate is $22.91 per hour. Positions range from 7.5 hours to 15 hours per week, depending on post assignment.
