The Dedham Public Schools is looking to hire permanent and substitute Traffic Directors/Crossing Guards. Traffic Directors cross students at various locations in Dedham and are supported by the Dedham Police and the Business Office.

Uniforms and paid training are provided, with hourly rates listed at $22.91 per hour and 7.5–15 hours per week depending on post. Position is part-time/school year; Dedham Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and postings are kept until filled.

Responsibilities

• Traffic Directors are responsible for crossing students who walk to school at various locations throughout the Town of Dedham.
• Traffic Directors ensure that traffic is stopped in all directions before allowing students to cross.
