Job Description

Braintree Public Schools has openings for School Traffic Supervisors. School Traffic Supervisors (Crossing Guards) are part‑time employees of Braintree Public Schools. Their primary responsibility is to protect school children crossing streets while walking to and from schools within the town and ensure the safe crossing of school children at designated crosswalks. School Traffic Supervisors have no enforcement, arrest powers or authority to issue motor vehicle citations. School Traffic Supervisors are assigned to control pedestrian and vehicular traffic at fixed posts determined by the School Department.

Required Qualifications

• Each applicant must pass a Board of Probation Check

• High School Graduate
• Massachusetts Driver’s License
• Pass CORI check
