Qualifications

• A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and one year of full-time experience as described above.
• Graduation from an approved four-year trade, technical or vocational high school with a mechanical or electrical major.
• At least one year of full-time experience as described above plus related training to make up the remaining required experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair traffic control devices such as traffic signs, posts, and pavement markings.
• Operate and perform minor adjustments on vehicles and shop equipment.
• Load/unload materials, climb ladders or bucket trucks, and work in various weather conditions.
